The Canadian flagged, DNV classed Canpac Valour, is a specially designed multipurpose offshore supply vessel ideally suited for Offshore/Nearshore scientific work, Submarine Cable deployment and repair, Renewable Energy projects, Ocean Research, AUV, ROV deployments, advanced cluster Sonar data acquisition, Oil Spill Response, Salvage and Inspection, Repairs and Maintenance of underwater assets.

The 50 meter by 11 meter Valour is fitted with a Dynamic Positioning system able to control the position and heading of the vessel, automatically balancing the environmental forces (wind waves, current etc.), while keeping the vessel on station.

The Canpac Valour has an open deck that is 30 meters long by 9 meters wide, fitted with a 15-metric ton A-frame and a 15-metric ton pedestal crane. The deck strength is 2.6 m2, and it can carry 500 tons on deck. Designed for 12 or 24-hour operations, the vessel is fitted with 20 berths and can accommodate 14 personnel in addition to the crew.
